I'm also not a great lover of the New Year, usually go to friends for a meal, can't cope with parties either

Saw a mad theatre production last night. Captain Hook's pirate crew were played as 'some very quaint guys'!! They did several Village People numbers in their routine. I thought it was the best bit of the whole show!

Three days off for me as well, but so much to get done that I think work would have been the easier option!
Heading off out into the quagmire now to sort my neddies out for the day.
Well, I joined some friends for a very hilly off road 10 miler yesterday morning. Great countryside, banter, lots of mud. Loved it.
Groinofski behaved so well pleased. Hit the gym for weights & more leg work in the afternoon.
5 mile run to gym this morning, weights session with personal coaching from TLL & then 1 on 1 box session before run home. I may ache a bit later.
Machine? Moi?
Driven (self drive variety), requires regular servicing, fuelling & oiling I'll give you that.
TT - no hands were laid on (apart from the boxing gloves & pads), but she was certainly playful.
On that note I'll wish all you revellers an enjoyable night and will paddle off to my bed.

I hope it's a bit better than last year.
This year I shall continue to run but I'm going to give up on injuries! (let's see how long that resolution lasts!).
I will deal with the nasty personal stuff that's haunting and daunting me (that resolution will be dead by about 11am this morning as I know I won't deal with anything).
I will lose a stone in weight (pahahahahahaha). Already given up on that one as there is a plate of cake sitting next to me.
I will be a good daughter / mother / sister / friend (just don't get in my way when I'm moody!).

No dieting done
The Eaglet ran the Serpentine New Years Day 10k this morning. He did us proud finishing 6th in 34 minutes 23 seconds, smashing his 10k PB.
That's my boy.
Just home from youngest daughters where we were since yesterday. Lovely food and was good with the drink as didn't overdo it.
Plans for this year is to lose 4st ( not setting myself an 8st target as feel it's unrealistic.
Aim to get back into decent running, use the gym more not not just pay a monthly fee.
That's not too bad is it.
I'm sitting here feeling guilty that I'm not getting ready for work! It doesn't feel like it's meant to be a bank holiday to me.
