Hey
I'm thinking of changing my sports watch for one that contains GPS to track how far I am running/walking.
I don't do technical, so the more basic the better. All I want is something to tell me how far I've gone, how fast I've gone, and tells the time when I'm not running. Oh, and not so expensive
After having a look online I'm kind of liking the look of the Soleus, but wonder does anyone know what it's like???
I have already been trying runtastic and runkeeper, other than taking a while to pick up GPS the biggest issue for me is that they are on my phone, and when I go out it's the one thing I don't like to take with me. My running is my time if that makes sense.
Look forward to your feedback, and thanks in advance

No it doesn't connect to pc or record routes, but that is an appeal to me as as I said, simple.
All the Garmin I have seen are more than double the price of the Soleus, do you know of somewhere selling them cheaper???
The 205 is larger than the 110 and has more features, such as advanced workout support (intervals, structure, and so on). The 110 is pretty much the same as the Soleus but with the advantage of being able to download your data to Garmin Training Center, Garmin Connect, Runkeeper, and so on. That sort of thing is very useful.
So, of the two I'd pick the 205.
Thanks for the advice. Will have a look at both, but from what you've said I'd prob end up with the 110 as I've only small wrists and don't want or need too many features.
Will let you know how I get on when I get the funds together to get around to getting one
Maamalade If your going to buy a 110 you can get one at Sweatshop this week (if you order before Monday) for £75.
