Anyone know if i can delete individual laps on the garmin 310xt (like i could on the 305) - say a warm up jog etc. Dont seem to be able to find that option but might just be me????

Nope, not just you. Don't think you can on the watch itself or on Garmin Connect but if you upload the data to the Garmin Training Centre you can delete laps in there. I think you can then move the data from GTC to Connect.
Alternatively and possibly easier, log the warm up as a seperate workout.
