I'm running the London marathon in April and I was wondering do the drinks stations provide energy gels? I would like to know so I can prepare myself if I need to take my own gels around the course.
There are a couple of gel points if they take the same approach as last year one at mile 14 and one at mile 21 You can get details of what lucozade provided last year at the following url. Worth remembering the bottles are 330 ml and not 500ml like retail bottles.
Thanks guys I will have to get one of those belts.
I have been using High5 gels and they seem to go down nicely.
I'm hoping to do the marathon in 3 hours. So I'm thinking I would have to carry about 7 gels if I take 2 at the start then after the 40 min mark every 20 mins or so..

They do not seem to have this years up yet.
Depending on your pace i recall they had run out of gels in 2010 not sure about last year,i think it is worth bringing your own with you...
