Hi all - wondering if anyone has an opinion on which of SIS PSP22 or SIS Go powdered drinks would be more suitable for runs of 16miles+ ? Or shall I just take water and have some Go gels if need be? Not been taking anything on my long runs recently and have felt pretty rough for the remainder of the day...(and the next).

The fitter you become, the further you can run without needing fuel / drinks. But for recoveries sake it is best to take something most of the time.
Go = PSP22 + electrolyes
I tend to always use Go as I'm a very salty sweater. I'll start using gels (in addition to the fluid) if I'm out for more than about 2.15, the first after an hour then 45 min intervals thereafter.
Edited for clarity.
I use 'Go' in the summer when it's hot and PSP22 the rest of the time. I usually drink 0.5ltr about 1-2hrs before my run (only for runs over 12 miles or tough sessions). I then have 0.5ltr of 'Rego' when I get in. When running 20mi or over I'll carry 130mls of either but don't usually finish it. I also carry 130mls of 'Go' during a marathon, during which I usually do finish it unless like at Abingdon last year, I drop it after 10mi.
I get headaches without electrolytes, these make quite a difference for me...
