I have done a couple of team 24 hr MTB events many moons ago but never a running one. Its looks superb. I'm no ultra runner though but don't mind running in the black of night. I could manage a few laps over the course of 24hrs.
Did you see that the solo winner did 20 laps, so over 120 miles last year!!!
Would have to be a not too serious team for me - road 10k time about 43 mins.
As I know I couldn't do 24 hours alone or as a pair, but with 8 people you would only get to go round a maximum of 3 times, I recon a team of 5 or 6 is best.
Vix and I think Sioux have done this one in the past if they are about we came use some help not on the running part but it’s me and SA we always need help.

Sounds perfect to me to get about 5 or 6 laps in each.
I did this solo a couple of years back. Was going really well until I decided to eat 2 burgers from the very good burger tent, then thought I'd have a quick 30 minute snooze before getting back out there.... Woke up about 6 hours later. Danger of not having any support...! It is a fantastic event, really well organised, amazing atmosphere. If it didnt clash with Lakeland 100 I'd do it again.
I'm a possible, but I can't commit at the moment. Put me on the reserve list until I can work out what I am doing. I'm also a slow runner - 60 min for 10k at the best of times, but I can't pass up the oportunity of a weekend with Cake

just spotted this you soppy sod.
I'm well up for it sure we can get a team or two together. maybe more once people realise that that will be a chance for a singalong and drinks while we wait for each turn in the relay.
Not sure yet. It's not that far from your mum's I think if you want to make a family weekend of it. Asked Sarah and if it happens she's cool with it and might come a long and give a lift. Other option is bike it over but would mean not much space on my back for things like tents and stuff. Sure it's going to work out cool eve way so get on board matie and we can tag team this lot with face paints and tomfoolery.

you can always join our team Holly, but 2 pirate teams would add a bit of competition
