HI BEEN TRAINING SINCE JANUARY THIS YEAR WITH THE HELP OF A PROGRAMME FROM RUNNERS WORLD
I GOT UP TO RUNNING 4 MILES CONTINUES THEN SUFFERED FROM SHINS SPLINT AND HAD TO TAKEIT EASY FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS BUT NOW BACK UP TO 3 MILES AND OK
DOING MY FIRST RACE IN SEPTEMBER (BLACKPOOL HILTON 10K)
NEED ADVISE ON WHAT TO DO RE REGISTERING IN ON RACE DAY

Hi Elaine
I havent actually done that race before, however I have done other races that have started from the Hilton. They usually have parking by the side of the hotel, but you have to pay for this, otherwise park on the surrounding streets. the last race I did from there had number collection at the hotel, but it was clearly signposted. You will be fine, there are always lots of folk about who can help on the day.

There's no need to book in as such - they don't need to know who is or isn't there.
I'd just make sure you arrive in good time. Allow for traffic delays and parking congestion.
Hi All
Completed Hilton 10k on Saturday in 1hr 23 mins.
Pleased with my time as been holding off an injury.
Found other runners very friendly, and race organisers helpfull.
Not as daunting as I thought it would be.
Im now going to crack on with my training and want to complete Hilton half next September
