  What part of Shropshire? - its a big county and most of the roads are slow.

  Not my part of the county, but Shropshire Shufflers (Shrewsbury), Wrekin Road Runners and Telford Harriers (Telford) are good friendly clubs with a range of abilities. Telford AC is more track and performance oriented (nice peopke though. Or you could try one of the gyms/leisure centres.

  Wrekin Road Runners would be best for you we have 2 groups fast one they do about 6 miles and a not so fast group they do about 3 or 4 miles every Tuesday night meet up at Telford Ice Rink at 7.15.

  I have spoken to Ian from Wrekin Road Runners who recommended the new beginners session which will be starting every tuesday at 6.30pm in the next few weeks.

  Need to start from the beginning really i think!

  I am trying to find our if there is a running club in Ellesmere Shropshire? I run alone but really want to also run with a group to keep up my motivation.... I cant seem to find anything at all on the internet and am at a loss of where to ask. Jess x

  Hi Jessica. I'm in Ellesmere too, been out of action for a few weeks but I've located a running group that meet just opposite the coop at 6.15 each Friday. They seem a lovely group of people. This may help! If you ever need a running buddy, I'm not the fastest but I'm running 10k's locally, just desperately need to get fit again.
