Its raining here too so wondering whether to brave the elements on the bike today, and to top it off the council thought it would be a good idea to cover the roads around where I live with loose chippings, so now only do I have less brakes because of the rain, when I do use them I just skid half a mile .
Thanks for the kick up the backside, gastank. Really enjoyed the run, and the rain was very refreshing. Took longer than expected as I had to wrestle a rabbit away from the wolf .
Off to lie in a hot bath with Fink and a mug of coffee.
Hmmm, could be too tight OR you have a really light coloured tri suit!
Ask yourself am I physically comfortable in this, if the answer is no then it's probably too tight... Mentally none of are comfortable but you could be different ..,
Back to the tri suit question. Is 'so tight my tattoos show through' too tight?
Speaking of tattoos be careful of the tri kit "tramp stamp" if you are wearing a top/bottom set. I still have remnants of a wicked sunburn on my lower back from a race last July! I get my new local club kit today and have an Olympic tomorrow. Tons of sunscreen shall be applied to my lower back in the morning.
IY most of us in the uk would love the chance to get sunburn
You should come over and do my local iron distance race! Last year, Ironman Louisville was "cool." Only 29C and sunny. The 2010 version, we had a heat index of about 40C. I was working the finish line that year and the carnage was awful.

And what if I told you I'm really a 6'3", 20 stone, bearded bloke?
NR - are you Geoff Capes?
Manned up & went out for a 40 minute spin. Bit breezy but kept dry. Quite a warm evening as it goes.
Maybe I should change my name to Budgie Fancier.
Well done on getting yourself out on the bike. 4º here.
Yep, ST, you get to a point where you can't get any wetter!
You'll see them at Outlaw next year
Excuses? Given up on those. Resistance is futile . Have found true happiness in the Gospel According to Fink.
Will see what's happening beginning of July.
Thats why you should buy a bigger size and grow into it
Beat me to it!
Ooh, you are awful
But I like you
I've sent it back to Wiggle.
I may need a jury when the new one arrives.........................

Ouch IY! Mine will be an all-in-one, so that (coupled with the Scottish 'summer'), should avoid the back burn.
SD, apparently it was a TV show in the 70's? My granny told me about it
