Jolly good, I did the Rosso Gallop 10k and that was slow, probably something to do with the river crossing and hay bales. I lost a good pair of shoes that day.
Yeah done it a couple of times well organised plenty of free parking at the Rugby club car park . Changing rooms available in the rugby ground. Start is on the field next to the car park. Most of the route is through sandal beat woods, mostly flat. Then at about 2.5 k you exit the woods and run up the playing field towards the bloodstock stables. Back down to the woods and approx 2-3k more through the woods. And then out the woods accross from wheatley golf club and back to the rugby club for the finish. Tip... Save a little in the tank for the last 2k. Trail shoes not required should be fine with normal trainers. Plenty of marshals but watch out for the odd dog walker.enjoy

Yeah, I'll be running it Gaz. This will be the 3rd time I've done it.
It's a good off road race mainly through the woods and is pretty flat as well.
There's usually a good turn out for this race.
Pretty flat sounds good to me!
Yeah it is. The only reason it's slower than a normal 10K is because you are running off-road so have to account for the terrain.
It's a good race though!

I'm doing this this year too. Is there a time limit or. anything on it?
I don't know Adele but it'll be getting dark around 9.30. Bring a torch just in case!
Just to give you an idea, first person across the line finished in 34.44, last person was 1.15.50.
Great event, really enjoyed it.
How did we get on? I smashed by PB with a pleasing 45:43! Around 4 minutes of my Donny 10k time.
