Salisbury Fireman half marathon

Did anyone do the Salisbury Fireman's half on Nov 3 2002? One of the most enjoyable halfs I've done, undulating with a nasty hill at 6 miles. Quite a challenge, but great running. The firemen are "hot" news at the moment, but whether you agree or not, they put on damn good races. Well done boys, see you next year. Also, check out the other races they put on.

    David, yes I did ,there is another thread on this from a few weeks back. I agree it was well organised and a scenic route and of course that lovely hill!
    I have recommended it to several running friends for next year.I believe there is also a Salisbury Half in the Spring but that it is on /near Salisbury Plain , organised by a running club?
    I came up from Dorset on the day but it was definitely worth it and of course the weather was great, which always helps!
    Coffee and hotdogs afterwards was also a good idea.

    yep, agree; Great weather, bummer hill and rivers in flow. What about the guy pushing his son in a wheelchair who did it ? 2hrs 10? Humbling or what?
