I'm doing the 42K on Sunday, and am missing all the usual info. Looking at last year's reviews I appreciate it might feel a bit homemade but I'm keen to know how regular the checkpoints are to see if I need to don a camelbak. Any previous experience appreciated.

I am running the 25K and taking my camelbak. Around the Goodwood estate is quite hilly so i am sure i will need plenty of fluids and som energy gel too!
I asked the organisers to send me the route map for the 25k and it shows 4 checkpoints/water stations about 5k apart. Hope it's well signposted as even with a map I reckon I'll get lost!
Godd idea Cookie, I shall do the same.
where did you get your map from as i requested one and I haven't been sent one yet
Well I am glad I had my camelbak. I t was certanly a challenging run, very muddy, but i enjoyed it! Organizers need to consider the possition of route markers as I got lost once with a few other runners. Next year I will deffinatelly wear off road running shoes!
I have to say the sign at the side of a field which said 'toilets through the front door' threw me a little!
I am suprised that I don't feel too bad, a little bit tired. Fortunatelly I booked a couple of days off at work as this run was my first big run.
