Completed the Nike British 10k in London on Sunday. First ever 10k (since school maybe - not sure how long cross country runs were). Anyway, after about 3 months of training I managed to get through in 55min 10secs. Quite happy to be under the 1 hour mark.

Having a bit of a break, purely down to sore legs. I was carrying a slight injury and this appears to have worsened. So frustrating. Hopefully with the help of some specific stretches I'll recover.
Then I reckon work up to another 10k. Really enjoyed it. May do the odd 5k as well. I can't see me wanting to build up to a marathon, but will see how my training goes.
