I've been looking through the TEAM GB olympic replica kit for a present for the missus. They don't seem to sell women's runing shorts. They do have 3/4 length tight, but, even considering the dire weather we are having, it is the middle of summer and a bit warm for tights.
Anyone know if shorts are available or have the designers gone more for the caps/hoodies/leggings etc that seems to pass for sportwear these days?

And I have googled it before you ask.
I know its pretty sad, but I wanted a crop top and racing pants...cant see the silly knickers anywhere and havent found the crop top in anything less than a 10
curly i wanted racing knickers and croptop too..only ones i have found are union jack croptop with GB on the back fron unionjack website for £17.99. thats the one im going for. and the same problem , the knickers are too big i need a 4-6!!
This is the top I was looking at in the shop... no knickers though:

The kit comes up quite big. I have the t-shirt (birthday present ) and it is an 8. Usually an Adidas 8 is ok on me (certainly from their 'proper' running gear range) but this is a very relaxed fit with room for growth - outwards!
you mean maternity wear joolska???
I find Adidas wear comes up really small on me.. but that could be because i have ample breasts....
Have you tried looking in Debenhams or a street retailer to see if they stock it? I remember walking past a shopfront with all of the kit being advertised... if they've not got it - they'll know the codes/who to order it from.
Not what I was planning, loulabell! Simply that I think I could go up a couple of dress sizes and still get into this t-shirt!
I would also like women's shorts or even racing knickers. Not a fan of the 3/4 lengths at all! Loulabell I can't even find the one that you're talking about at all.
I couldn't even find anything in anything in a 10 let alone smaller sizes.. Not that that would've helped, esp for a crop top.
If you go to the events you might find shops there selling all sizes? There will surely be places to purchase clothing at the different events?
For anyone going, I've just found this site selling things like Union Jack earrings, flip flops etc. Awesome idea http://www.ukactivitystore.com/olympic-special/
Do you think the Men's swimming trunks would work as race briefs, or would they be a bit... nobbly?
Curly et al - Achilles Heel have stock of crop tops!
