You could always post obscure news articles from months and months ago (I'm thinking, vaginal surgery, bestiality, that sort of thing) and invite views from other forum members.

No, wait, someone already does that.
As you were.
I was going to mention an article on the BBC news website about "penis captiva" but then I thought, no, Karen will come along in a few of months and do it for me
I've been doing all my training for my first marathon at target marathon pace or quicker. Go me!
My target marathon pace is just a total finger in the air as I've never done another race as I do all my training on the treadmill (I don't like the cold and rain), but I'm sure it'll be fine on the day as I really, really want it.
Im planning on walking my local 5k park run but I need some advice on the best fuelling strategy. does this sound like a suitable plan for me ( I have been training for 18months )
night before race ( around midnight ) - 1 malt loaf + 3 bananas + 5 pints of water.
pre-breakfast snack (4am) - Peanut and Jam bagels with rice crispy cakes
breakfast ( 7am) - 3 bowls of porridge with toast ( wholemeal), washed down with 3litres of gatorade
pre race 8am-9am - 3 different branded glucose drinks to be consumed at the start line along with another 3 bananas / box of Jaffa cakes.
during the race - I will carry a belt with just 8 SIS energy gels ( in case I lose 1 on the way round ) ....I plan on having a full bladder back pack with 5 litres of water in case they have no water stops available...
post race I will get straight to the TOBY CARVERY and hope I can replace enough energy not to suffer any long term damage.
any advice or comments on my fuelling strategy i'd be most interested..

Far more important than nutrition I find is that you need to make sure you wear warm cloths, perhaps an Italia jacket as used by elites.

Scream - attach a link to your running blog maybe ?
Dammit I haven't got one of those either!
What's your view on people running with MP3s ?
It's nearly spring anyone giving lifts to silverstone half yet?
Surely you must be wondering if you can change from the red start to the blue start soon?
Or how I can go sub 3 at London. I only just started running last week.

How about whether you can race with your dog/pushchair?
Is that ok? As the rules don't exactly specify that so I should be ok.

I actually did once see a woman with a pushchair and a dog on a lead in a race. Never signed up for that one again!
Can I enter London on the day?
I don't think there's a Brighton Marathon 2015 thread yet...
Could people please advise me how I can get in to Team GB ?
Marathon was to long, my Garmin said 26.7m
That'll be due to the national shortage of course measurers.
But is was down sarf

Some young hooligans shouted naughty things at me on my run last night
That was me sexy, cheers for saying young.
On bike radar you could ask which sub £1000 bike, tubs v clinchers or which wheels?

Glyn: I reckon you might need to add a packet of Jaffa Cakes as a starting line nibble.... In fact 4 or 5 packs, and eat one every 100m
One Jaffa cake, not one pack that would be daft!!
oh thanks booktrunk im glad you take my question seriously ...there is a lot of pi** takers on this site I've noticed.
I will make this amendment
