Races that don't have a UKA licence

  Not something I'd ever thought about in the slightest. I'm a human magpie, so the the main thing I want to know is "do you get a medal?"

  A friend has just done her 1st marathon and did a great time. She now realizes she could have got a qualifying time for Good for Age for London and Guaranteed entry to Chicago but the race only had an ARC licence. It looks like her time cannot be used which is such a shame. UKA licences become very important to some people.
