Supercaz - no problem, I didn't need the gels anyway and it should have been me that spotted you seeing as you had brightly coloured signs and balloons! Also I was about 4 minutes earlier than I said. Hope you're feeling better.
I was looking out for you from about 10 min earlier than your time as I didn't have my watch with me so was having to guess and keep looking at my phone
I wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped out on the day or with the preparation leading up to the day. Considering it was organised very last minute compared to most years it all went very smoothly on the day.
I hope that those of you who are newer to the forums and who benefited from Mudchute this year can see yourselves able to come and stand on the other side of the fence in the next year or two. We can't offer this support without volunteers and often the best volunteers are those who have run a marathon so understand what the runners are going through when they get to us.
Thank you all! Definitely seemed well organised from a runner's point of view although you almost caught me by surprise as my brain was a bit slow processing the information that numbers meant I'd reached you already. And super service for you guys to recognise me and have my goodies handed over while I was burbling about whether you were the runner's world people or not!
Can recommend helping out, I ran last year came down this year to help out, it was so much fun!! Not sure if entering ballot or not..... So don't know which side of fence will be on next year.
I'll definitely help out next year. Much like Alki, i was slow to realise what the numbers were on the right hand side. Beside the fact i actually forgot to leave gels at the expo, the noise and support you guys were giving was amazing. Being my first marathon i didnt really know what to expect, Its certainly the atmosphere and support that gets you round. Ill be behind behind the fence next year shouting at the ones that need it most
Had to pop in to say thank you to all who weren't in Team 5 Lovely to see you!
A belated thank you for being there I was looking forward to seeing you as I trundled through Docklands which might account for 2 relatively quick miles.
Sorry I've not been in before but we had a bit of a weekend with MiL ending up in hospital on the Friday beforehand and the only certainty being that I was going to run (my husband is fab). Got to you ahead of schedule and finished in 5:04 something which allowing for you, Fetchpoint, Alex from Super6 2011 on the mile 22 water and 4 toilet stops (pubs not portaloos) is not too bad. Had a fab time and have put myslef back into the ballot to see what happens.

I was looking all the way up to mile 18, when I gave up! But actually it made that mile seem really short so that helped!

Thanks for the big cheer, guys - I spotted your station but wasn't expecting quite so much noise!
That was purely self interest as I knew I wouldn't eat otherwise
Well Done everyone!
Caz that cake was yummy. Thankyou

I saw YOU Puffy!
Can we just all agree now, that I am indeed.....quite simply the BEST jelly babies giver-outer that ever lived?
I'll allow that if I can claim to be the best orange giver-outer
But none of you spotted my approach......
Approach? Were you mincing or doing a funny dance?
Nope - I just ran up to you all, totally unnoticed, despite being in LB's eyeline!
I think I was hugging someone else at the time...
I was really good at saying one thing and meaning another!
So we gathered Vixx.
When you told me I am a fat, ugly bitch I knew that secretly you fancied me
LOL
(I would never say something untrue though - and you are none of those things Caz!!)
I might say untrue things about myself though....
Dear All
