2K swim done, just waiting for lunch to go down then I'm off out on the bike - I *love* being on half term when the kids aren't
Holgs, glad the tri show went well, wish I could have made it.
Feeling OK this morning, bit stiff & bruised, that's all. You learn from your mistakes (i.e. be aware on crappy country roads). Bike needs a good clean!

60 miles biked ...fabulous day for it
45 mins on the rollers this lunch in the car park at work. That's almost certainly what this isn't about.
Masters swim class tonight. I'm told the highpoint of the session will be a 200m and then a 400m time trial. Oh yipeee!
400 and then a 200 is the CSS test ... if that is what they are doing Donkey
1 hour brick session tonight. Nearly came a cropper on the bike when the front light suddenly went off and left me travelling down a hill in total blackness.
Certainly a saddle clenching moment. Remember to connect light to battery properly next time.
What's a CSS test?

Strange question.... are credit cards OK after they've been through the washing machine? Must remember to check pockets on cycle top and remove emergency cash and credit card before I wash them!!

have woken up with a stonking headache today - mostly sinus related - so am feeling a tad crap. am going to have today as a rest day (though I may well play around with kettlebells later and do core stuff if my head doesn't feel like it'll explode) Bah

Raf, I reckon it'll be fine. My granny once washed £200 in my papa's trouser pocket - not a good outcome. Now there's a thread idea - "What have you put through the washing machine by accident?" Mine would be an REM ticket.

Getting better while actually enjoying the time swimming. It's no longer something "I just have to do".

Really short of time today, so a quick swim - 4 x 250m trying to focus on my core and not dropping my hips - and a 30 min run straight after.
Have just unrolled the yoga mat to do some core work and stretches.
I am feeling very positive about training and O-day at the moment
Will try the other way next time.
Whats a washing machine? Is it the same as a wife?
Done an hour swim tonight. Had a go at bilateral breathing, did it for half a dozen lengths. Felt a bit awkward but i think a bit more practise will sort that out
