Hello everyone. On Sunday I’m running in a 10k race. I have been training and I run three times a week. I have followed a 10k training plan. My last 10k which was last Sunday was a trail run and my time was 1hour and 25minutes. I’m 65 and where I live is hilly, lots of inclines and farms as well as fields. I’m hoping that on Sunday I shall run better as the route is road and a lot flatter in parts. However I am worried about setting off too fast and running out of energy too early all the usual worries etc etc.To be honest I’m in two minds wether or not to go at all. I will go as I’ve done a lot of training and as much as I can but I don’t want to look foolish. Any advice would be a confidence booster and very welcome. Thanks
