Please please can anyone help. After suffering from greater hip pain syndrome I recovered and started running again. I decided to take it easy and did couch to 5 k (it was a long road to recovery so didn’t want a relapse). I had previously run a half marathon and regularly ran 10ks (slowish pace 1hr 10mins pace). All was going well then my ankle swelled and was painful. I rested for 2 weeks and tried again. Same thing, but pain up the side and shin. Rested again but for longer (ice, ibuprofen etc). It improved but by this time I was back at work and chose to cycle rather than run. I missed running though and have given it another go. I’m up to week 6 on c2 5 and my ankle is sore and swollen again. Any advice that doesn’t involve me bothering my doctor during this pandemic? Thank you!
