I got shin splints last year about February time and since then I have really not got going again. Can anyone help.
I was able to easily run 6+ miles at 9 - 9:30 min/mile pace. Ok it's not Mo but it kept me fit! Now I can barely do 4 miles and I am down to 10:30 min/mile. I seem to have no energy at all.
I am approaching 60 now at to be honest I sometimes feel like just giving up. I am persevering but I am finding it hard to motivate myself to run when I can only go so slowly.
What have other folks done when in a similar situation?
In 2018 I did 1000+ miles in 2019 it was less than 500 so goodness know what I'll do in 2020. Just feeling a lack of mojo!! Ideas welcome
