Hello Everyone, I hope you're all well and enjoying your running. I've just signed up for a marathon in December and would like some advice. It's my first marathon and i'm a little confused by the training plans. None that i've seen say you run any further than 22miles, can anyone explain this to me, as i'd usually like to know i've got the distance in the tank before race day. Also, as i've just been generally training I feel like I might've peaked too early as i'm already running 20 miles, in 2hr30. With the race in mind i'm a little unsure how t proceed. Do I continue running the same distances or do I cut down a bit and build back up? I'm running a sub 3hr marathon, but the plans don't seem to have many longer runs in them, just shorter distances with some speed training. Is this normal? All and any help with be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Luke
