I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or could help me figure out what the issue is. I've been running for about 13 years now. About 4 years ago after the 50 miler I started experiencing a feeling of muscle fatigue in my lateral left quad when trying to sprint. At first I figured it was the sprinting since I had been doing a year of slow and long distance running. Over the years it has continued and worsened to the point now I cannot do a full mile without needing to stop and walk for a few minutes and then I can start up again until it happens again. I've seen a sports medicine MD who said to wear low drop shoes and try a faster cadence. Well faster makes it come on quicker and I have different types of low drop stability and neutral shoes none of which make a difference. I've had multiple deep tissue massages, no significant change. A few chiropractors and PT which did nothing. Acupuncture also nothing. I'm getting frustrated and don't want to quit running!!
