having just finished the Moray marathon for the second time, last year wasthe first I again enjoyed the whole day. the earlier start of 9:30am was a good move particularly on a hot day (it was a hot day for northern Scotland and marathon running) and off the back of it I am considering doing another before the year is out. any comments on good races would be welcome

The early morning start should maybe be taken in by other race organisers to!
Entries for the Loch Ness Marathon on 29th September are open until Monday (online at www.lochnessmarathon.com), unless that's too soon for you.
There are quite a few forumites doing it.
All this with a free pasta party, beautiful scenery,.flat course and clean air. What more could you want?
