  ...but what else might we be infected with as the tops are already off - by the time i get to them i'll likely be offered a pre-swigged pouch to restore my collapsing body as the full ones will be long gone - and from my experience of long runs so far i will accept whatever is offered at that point

  I've stuck all the bits together in a drawer so I don't have to go around searching like a mad thing late Saturday night when I need to be in bed.
  
  The number comes with safety pins, but I think there's only two so you might want more :-)

  I have little piles all over my living room... started to pack last night, and I'm not sure how I'm going to get it all there. I am having indecision problems about my bum bag and the top I'm going to wear (b/c of the weather), and I'm not settled on what I'll wear at the start, so I've got quite a nice little mess all over my floor. Oh- did anyone mention sunglasses? I'm bringing them just in case.
