When the going really gets tough for you next week, try and think of all of your friends around the country who will be willing you on to what will be a historic achievement.
I will be sending positive thoughts in your direction, you can bet on it!
What a fantastic challenge, what a fantastic opportunity. I'm quite happy that I'm not doing the same and jealous at the same time. Enjoy yourself. Take a moment each day to be in that particular moment and not to think ahead or behind where you are at that time. This is not a dress rehearsal
Personally - I think you're all mad - but in a good way!
Very best wishes to all 11 of you - I'm marshalling the last one so will be there to encourage you with only ten miles to go. Looking forward to the updates.
Is it too much to suggest that you try and enjoy it?
I won't get up to see you mainly due to having a husband who has turned into a spy (how else can he explain the number of overseas trips he's done recently?).
Have a great time, it's a beautiful part of the world to be doing this barking mad thing in, so lets hope the views take your mind off the pain! Not that you will experience any pain, at all. Ever.
May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and may each and every mile pass like a rolling river
We will be waiting with bated breath here on the forum.
Arrived this morning, beautiful pace, all settled into our lodge. Have driven round the course, not flat but really stunning scenery, food is wonderful here and we're being looked after so well.
Marathon No. 1 tomorrow, will report in tomorrow night although the internet is so slow here
Is this how it feels when your children are giving birth? You know it's painful, but there's not a lot you can do about it till they contact you and say they're OK!!!!
I would like to point out (because she hates fundraising and I'm cheekier than she is) that Shades is being sponsored for this, so if you want to support her in this amazing effort and haven't already done so, you can go to her Justgiving site and chuck her a few quid......
All the best to all of you doing the 10 in 10.I'll be glued to see your race reports.Looking forward to meeting you all on Sunday and running with you in the last one.
