Ironman South Africa 2009

OK ironmanSA is April 5th 2009, Jan and I will be going back and having done the race in 2008 will be happy to answer any questions if you are thinking of coming too

good points great race, flat bike , town really into Ironman, great swim , accomodation within 5 mins walk of start,cheap as chips once you are there , chance to see South Africa , no jet lag, amazing culture great wine & beer a few more inc sfari's etc but I will get boring

downside long trip down there, crime (not an issue in PE but be alert)

Overall we thought this was once only trip but it was loads of fun so if you are tempted ...
