Doctor, estoy sangrando de mi pene y hay sangre en mi orina. ¿Puede usted ayudar por favor?Doctor, I am bleeding from my penis and there is blood in my urine. Please can you help?Without wishing to sound like a forum stuck record and shouting online,GO TO THE BLEEDIN' DOCTOR!!!!
Been reading this thread and it has made me chuckle (El Bleedo!) although i have to say for one bleeding out of ones most precious orrifice (I presume it is for boys - being that i'm a lady), you do seem to be quite non-plussed about it! If I were bleeding out of anything other than my nose (and even that i tend to panic about) I would get to a dcs no matter where in the world I was, you could be really poorly you daft man!
But as cougie says - if you're not going to listen, it may drop off - don't coming running!
Agree with BB (of course), blood in wee should always be properly checked out, 'probably dehydrated' isn't good enough. Usually it turns out to be nothing to worry about but sometimes the cause is nasty and there's no way of telling without doing some tests.
My mum had blood in her urine after a half marathon once, one Dr said it was a normal thing to happen after a race but it turned out that she has a very serious kidney condition that caused her kidneys to produce very large kidney stones. By the time she started finding blood in her urine her kidneys were literally jam packed full of stones and she had to spend several years going in and out of hospital to get them surgically removed. She didn't run for 10 years after that.
Sorry, so sorry - this is meant to be a serious thread from a worried fellow but I just nearly wet myself laughing at JWrun and Liverbird's comments. Dont know about blood in my wee - think I was nearly incontinent (and I dont mean about to move to Spain)
Well you seem to be ok with your bleedin winkie so we are as well (although yes "probably dehydrated" wouldn't make me feel any happier - but what do i know i panic once a month anyway ! )
She is a lady on the forum who asks a lot of questions and gets a lot of flack for it cos she doesn't seem to listen, it frustrates a lot of the more experienced and prolific posters cos she does seem to ask loads of inexperienced questions but never heeds the advice - i.e. rest your stress fracture, then she posts that she has just gone for a small jog, feel a bit sorry for her cos she gets loads of flack but maybe i'm just naive to the ways of a "troll"? Who knows, she's harmless enough and her threads always get a lot of action!
The short version is that she ran a marathon, overtrained like you wouldn't believe, fractured her THIGH bone from the impact of too many miles and has been trying to train every which way but loose ever since, without listening to single word anybody has said! She starts at least a thread a day about herself, so stick around and watch the show.....
I had an operation to remove a tumour after running the same marathon, sat patiently on the injury bench for three weeks and have just recommenced training. It's called REST and she could learn a thing or two from it.
I know what you mean, I think she gets a lot of grief but she does ask some odd questions, particularly for one who's been running for so long? hmmmm, I'm not convinced shes a "troll" (don't get why its called a troll but there you go!) but i think she doesn't quite get how to interact with peeps on a forum, it took me a while

Sorry.... sorry.....
Couldn't resist....
If you're embarrassed about talking to the doc, out there in Spain you don't have to give your real name.
Just say you're called C.O. Jones.
LOL
I believe you JWrun but im sure millions woudn't.....
Um, no, not happy. I think he's basically just thought you meant concentrated urine, not blood.
People don't tend to bleed just because they're a bit dry, sorry .
Can you get back to the UK any sooner to see a doc who can actually understand what you're on about? Or find a good English-speaking doc out there?
