read the Forestman reports on Tri-talk is sounds brutal. I've done teh Spet 1/2 distance version. I reckon I might make the Forestman that one my first Iron distance next year - BUT it looks like its 26th June and thats one of my nippers b'days so it'll get veto'd by the SPO anyway.
TR - i ran an aid station this year at the forestman this year, and it is very brutal, well organised as you'd expect. Im not sure i would ever fancy it.
Doozer - kind of appeals cos its local and the family can come and support (cheaply). But agreed, 26M on that run course would be tough ! I'll see how I go in Sept. You racing in Sept again ? I saw you had eneterd Austria 2011, Rosey mentioned a race you did last weekend - what was that ?

Nice one Dooz - you're getting pretty good ! The first fella in my age group came 2nd overall - he gets in my lido sometimes, I thought it looked like he can swim pretty fast ! I also see that your mate Piercy got his feet wet for once !
anyone fancy this little tri in France next year - no it's not Embrun or Altriman (a Pyreneen toughie) but the bike course does happen to take in the Ventoux climb.....all the way up and all the way down....
Thanks but no thanks, i might be knew to all this but even i know thats way out my league, im sticking to the mighty UK for my first IM, although the pics and videos on Germany IM thread really makes me want to try and change the mind of my misses and convince her a trip abroad is the answer.
i reckon i would benefit from some useful mentoring, i know i might be a bit early for next season but if there are any volunteers out there who want to help a 16stone 37 year old man through there first year of triathlon i would be eternally grateful

didnt see CRABs name there though !
That would be Colin Dixon, yep he's pretty rapid. CRAB came down to watch, he said he couldnt handle getting beaten by me!!! Yeah Lee did pretty well for a duathlete, we are racing 70.3 in Antwerp in 3 weeks, be interested to see how he goes there.
