Yay!! - Glasgow city centre is full of American cars and they are 'set-dressing' George Square with US road signs etc .......no sign of Brad yet tho ......I suspect the filming is all taking place early morning.......I'm gonna have to get up early .
There might be a few extra 'extras' staggering in on this one if Glasgow at 4am is usually anything to go by ......nobody will notice the difference........
Zombies scare me, both fast and shamblers. I realy want to know what the dr said in the waking dead. World war z with brad pit? Sounds like a weekly gosip magazine to me,but i did like the book. Also check out 28months later on you tube, realy good video but its actualy for the game stalker. The remake of the crazies was good.
It's not released until next month, but the trailers look awful.
I don't know why they bought the rights to the book and then seem to have churned out a film that in no way resembles the book other than it has zombies in it.
The trailers looks... interesting. But other than the name the plot doesn't seem to have anything to do with Brooks' book. Which is a shame, because the book is excellent.
The Walking Dead, however, is always worth a watch
I passed a sign to 'The Zombie Hut' yesterday. I'm not sure whether that is somewhere where zombies hang out, or where to go to find weapons in case of a zombie invasion. It did look like it might be a hut though
After watching The Walking Dead for the last 3 seasons I have pondered on this question myself. I think you should head for Isle of Wight, kill off all the zombies there and you'll have peace and quiet as they can't swim or so I think.
IOW is too big, you only need someone to die, reanimate then you're screwed. Somewhere like Lundy would be better. I don't guess they can swim (although in the "We're Alive" zombie podcasts they do) but they don't need to breath so the could in theory just walk along the sea bed???
Not sure if it qualifies as zombies exactly but there is a French series about to start on C4 about people returning from the dead. The Returned, Sunday at 9pm.
It depends on what zombie mythology you subscribe to (I don't take this seriously, honest I don't...) but whilst zombies don't swim, they do walk along the bottom of the river/sea, or float, so an island might not actually be all that safe.

Zombie attack!
'The man growled at the police officer, and ate his victim's nose and eyeballs'
On a lighter note I got "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" for my birthday
Excellent book
Have you read the prequel?
Yes, I really enjoyed it so I put the second one on my wish list. I've got some gift vouchers too so I can buy the 3rd one myself.
Oh and the second series of The Walking Dead is on Channel 5.
Zombie heaven
I haven't seen the first season yet

BOING!
I saw a poster for World War Z the other day. Has anyone seen it yet?

Oh that's a shame, maybe not even Brad Pitt can save it...
I think the 3rd season of the Walking Dead starts soon on Five so at least that will be something to look forward to.

3rd season is great, just finished on Sky.
I guess World war Z can wait until its reduced on DVD then!
The third season of The Walking Dead was excellent.
Cheers, I'm looking forward to it. No spoilers please
Don't know if anyone else is into board games, but I've been playing Last Night On Earth recently. It's a lot of fun.
Seconded as long as you can get the shotgun.

I've seen the ad for that - it looks intriguing!

Wherever I had my fortress, I'd have a fire moat
Walking Dead series 3 starts on Saturday 29th June on Channel 5
The Returned on Channel 4 is brilliant so far. The people aren't zombies but they are a bit creepy...
Anyone out there seen World War Z yet is it worth some popcorn?
We could see it tomorrow night Cakey boy?
And take walnuts to the cinema instead of popcorn, because they look like brains!!
