I'd like to say marathon but at the moment it's half marathons.
It's round the block for me right now!
10 mile is the perfect distance IMO
Long enough for it to be a challenge,short enough that I can really enjoy it

Half marathon: long enough to require decent endurance and some consideration towards pacing, but still short enough to attack it early on without worrying about falling to pieces later.
Yeah all that, plus the training that's required for it. I like tempo running, I also like long runs that aren't toooo long, so HM is a nice distance to be ''semi-ready'' for all the time, without the chore of the marathon long runs.
I'm enjoying 5k's. Simply because I try and keep improving my time. Been at it for perhaps 8 weeks, few times a week runs and I just improved my PB to 22:40.
Will probably have to mix it up and do longer distances but at a more steady pace (5min K's).
Is that sensible? I'm a noob (at 37 years old) at this running lark!
10 miles. Gives me a chance to mow down the ones who start too fast.

Half marathon. I'm not really built for anything much shorter as I'm not exactly fast.

100m, while I still can. Then back to marathons. My two best distances at the moment but I'll pick the shorter one for the easy training. (That's 100 metres, not miles.)
10 miles, perfect balance between bit of endurance and speed. Also, nice easy maths to work out as you are going along.
Oh yeah, easy maths. Good shout. OK I've changed my mind - 10 miles. It's also the PB that needs most revision, seeing as how I've run 3 minutes quicker in training!
No specific distance, it just needs to start with the word 'Trail'.
Difficult question, I think I'm going to say 10K.
For pretty much the same reasons as exiled claret said 10 miles.
I'm going to say HMs for the mean time...I find that the training for marathons takes up so much time - I'm enjoying HM training at the minute - well ask me again after tomorrow's 10 mile LSR!
Marathon. Love the endurance and the added nutrition puzzle to stop be hitting the wall
Half Marathon for me.
9 miles for me.
Not so long I get bored and not so short that I feel like I need to do more.
Plus I've found the perfect route and playlist to match.
I feel like a proper sad case.

Undecided between 100 miles and 50 miles... maybe 100k is the answer
