Yes please M..o.use. I really missed meeting you and feel a bit guilty that I had to eat the speciality irish chocolates that I had bought you .
They weren't really special, just maltesers dunked in guinness .
I need to arrive in better shape than i did at Outlaw. I have the stubborness and the drive, but I got a bit carried away in the fink build phase and picked up that stupid injury. That buggered up my run and perhaps added over an hour to my target time.
So I'll do as I'm told, and I'll not shy away from the 'noisy' table this time round.
I'd love to mentor you, Schmunks, if Meldy is too scary.
VT'd sold. As I said to you elsewhere. I wasn't sat at the blumin noisy table anyway!!! And you don't need to put all those flippin dots in everywhere when you type my name.
it's taken me a few days to realise, actually I think I'd like another crack at another long distance Tri and make a better fist of it next time!
Absolutely brilliant mate So much talk of never again last weekend... at least ou lasted longer than me... I lasted about 4 hours whilst in the med tent before knowing I would be back for more
Im just trying to think how many people I know who've just done one and called it a day. Very few, in fact im struggling to think of any?
Ratbag, Garr, Jellybabe, Big Dave, Millicack - all from 2005 - have only ever done one. Ratbag and Garr keep threatening to come back; Millicack can't run any more (back issue) so won't be back; and JB and BG have moved to NZ and do sometimes threaten to do another.
And Handyrunner - he moved overseas and has disappeared off the scene so who knows??
Attempted one, but yet to succeed! I shall be back for another try, but not next year, too many other things going on, and I want to improve my running and reduce my weight first. Then I shall be back and a contender for first prize *

I might IM next year, I might follow a ready made plan, I might follow a coached plan or I might just sit on my backside for a year.
But I'll keep popping to follow this & see who's offering/being offered.
Are you calling me a Foo, Meldy?

I'm well past my bed time and if I'm not careful my unofficial mentor will be shooting me.

ah - now you mention it he did.
He (Garr) did chicken out of a Wales rematch - pretty sure he promised to beat me one day. It's getting tougher Garr....
I have a mental for next year,,,,,,, I shall try to be attentive.
10' - he's going to need some serious go faster Speedos to get close to you these days....
BtS has also only done one, and haven't you only done one too KK? Assuming we are talking single IM races here.
so you should do the triple next
Did't Garr do the first Frankfurt too? '06.
edit: Yes, he did, so that's three for Garr.
Add me to the done 1 list... for the moment

Maybe in the Most Miserable award! *runs off*
Garr has done Zurich, Frankfurt and Nice.
He reckons he's going to do IMW next year. I hope he does!
yes Jj! You got it!
Oh oh... me again..
He has PROMISED to do the 10th B'day one
