It will be 'local' to me this time so I could pop along. I've given up on biking and running to concentrate on the swimming for the next 12 months so would be better off helping out rather than taking part.
Popping in for interests sake. 1.2 miles in a Cheshire mere a cycle ride from Macc to Buxton to Whaley Bridge to Macc (twice) 13 miles up into the reservoir country
Nope, not a hill in sight. (Becaues the mists will obscure them). Very scenic. Are you sure the snow will have melted from the Cat and Fiddle road?

I'm seriously thinking of this "event".
The route is not hilly, I ride cat and fiddle a lot and its not in that league.
Its a 5 mile loop that is undulating but can not be described as hilly
The run is 3 mile loop.
The reason for loops is that its easier to manage 1 feed station (same one for bike and run) and the amount of direction signs that have to put up the day before and then taken down the day after.

If I can sort out time I'll do it defo!
I'll race one day and help the other. Reckon I can probably persuade the OH to help out (probably both days)

Lurking positively. Pool swim preferable whilst ther is still ice on the water.
Dude up north there is never snow and ice honest.
Seriously in may the water shouldn't be to cold and should be cool.
