He should be OK, he took 18 minutes for 3k but that would have been the section through the woods. He'll be back along the canal now & will pick it up again. Come on matey!
nutrition...........so many people never reach their potential because they underestimate the nutition side............without you can be the fastest runner in the world and will still get a crap run time.........I love the eating part of the race....
KK.interesting that you could kill Melli's run...I thought your single IM pb on the run was 5:17.or did you mean your standalone marathon PB could beat her IM PB
I've done one single IM, I bonked on the bike and had a knee injury. I was a complete rookie. You must be experienced enough to realise the progressions for all of us here?
Gutted for crab, that's a harsh pill to swallow but it's a marker. I think that's his fastest time by a fair way. 10' has just sparked my interest of a return to Roth
cracking times indeed. CRAB said he bumped into pukey on the run and a bit of time spent with him cost him valuable minutes.
you lot are nutters, inspires me to keep doing the odd running race and middle distance tri. Shame I didnt stay home and watch the Roth tracker, we went to the 20/20 and watched 3 hrs of groundsmen activity and pitch inspections and then it was called off anyway and we all went home.
I am inspired to go back to Roth on a quickie weekend to have a pop at posting a fast time and get close to 10'. That is some marker, only think melbourne is quicker and that's a long way to go for a weekend !!

Snorks 9:42.
Has he hopped over another mat?
Saw snorks too. This is fun.
I think crab might have skipped over a mat.

Or two. Or perhaps a leg fell off. Or he's in a portaloo. Or he jus' got a bit tired and stopped for Ribena an' cake?
Love the winners time. Did he have to sprint for that? Great result for Rachel too.
Come onnnn-uh. I want a weeeeee.
another split showing for the crab
He's just crossed the line. He didn't look good - tough day.
Ooooooh! 10:00:42.
Gutted for him, so close.
*sigh*
I know - poor bugga. I'm sure they'll still enjoy the beer.
I remember Mr Melik doing 10:00:08 in Frankfurt in '06...
Nice racing guys
+1
the fastest woman in my AG did 10.30 - how can that be?!
if you could swim faster and bike faster and run faster Debbo...you could have won......no problem
Some absolutely cracking times delivered by a variety of people today. Really inspiring stuff. So much so that I'm thinking about upping my training.
Once I've finished this Peroni of course. You mustn't rush into these things.
*pads off determinedededly*
