Hey guys I'm a fairly new runner, and didn't know aldi did this sort of thing! Does anyone know if (and when) they do running gear? Also I notice from the website they've got some compression stuff is it ok for running or is it specific to cycling? Thanks
I was told that Aldi have their running gear in two weeks time, not sure that its a reliable source yet though.
Running gear on October 10th according to their website. Can't complain about my new tri-suit, seems to be decent quality albeit designed more for a short, Cavendish-like cyclist than my non-Aldi one.
I'll have a look in my local branch this lunchtime. A day later than most, but I don't see many triathlete physiques around the Wythenshawe area, so suspect they might have bits left.
Bought a trisuit and gave it a whirl for running. I am a chunky chap who can suffer from chafing on long runs. I did 6km, the pad rubbed a little bit between the legs, but not too bad. I plan to do supersprint triathlon soon, so I reckon this will be ok for a beginners suit. Next time, I will try it out with the pad wet, plus a scoop of antichafing gel. This thing cost 15 quid!! Bargain!
Picked around the Buxton shop today and managed to pick up l compression pants, overshoes (last size 9) and stand. Also took a gamble on some medium trousers, seem a touch on he tight size for 34 waist but may get away with it
I was the man from Aldi today, in my new top, trousers and socks, all seemed good though and i still have raincoat and another top and gloves to try out too. I think the wife stocked up with a few christmas pressies too.
looking forward to the running gear sale, i've got running gear 10 years old from Aldi now still thats still in use (or at least back in use )
I used the cycling top today, and it was just about perfect. Maybe the zipped back pocket could be awkward to access on the move? My answer was that I accessed it when stationary. Certainly the zips offer security. But for £8.99? Very happy.
I have bought running gear from Aldi in the past. It is excellent gear for the price, if you want to pay 5 times for a brand then do so, but you can't go wrong with the Aldi gear.

I wonder if Aldi would like to sponsor me?
