Hi guys
training is going well, only have a hybrid at the moment with fat tyres as hopefully buying my first road bike soon.
Managed 12 miles tonight before it got really dark in around 58 minutes. About 12 MPH
Hopefully with the road bike this will improve. Trying to get around 40ish miles on the bike during the evenings with a long run and long cycle at the weekend before weather gets too bad.

very true but would rather invest in a turbo for the cold months lol

very true but just starting out so not got all the kit yet
will but some more kit on the weekend.
To be fair you dont really feel the cold once you get going
Consistency is the key. More often is better than more less often, clearly beaten by more, more often though.
Keep pushing the limits, keep building the endurance, recover every now and again. Sometimes you will get wet and cold, sometimes you won't.
Edited as I had dropped an aitch
