Well that's how I see it MP. Perhaps we should question why a non-erect penis is deemed offensive when female breasts, in general, are not.
Personally I don't find any part of the human anatomy offensive.
I am presuming the posting of a picture of a giant penis is all about context then ?

Come on RW - you can't have it both ways, cazz this thread or provide an explanation.
My guess would be that someone found a picture of a penis offensive, and complained. So RW Towers, who mostly leave the forum to get on with it have to act.
Why a picture of a penis (not even an erect penis) should cause offense is not clear to me.
If you are worried that your children will see it, then supervise their computer use. They will very easily find much more shocking images!
i agree with Wilkie about its not up to this forum to monitor kids use.......
and also agree that they would have removed it due to the fact it must have been reported......
Clearly it is about context though. I don't think penises (erect or otherwise) are that attractive, but they're not intrinsically offensive. But I don't think I'd be that impressed clicking on a thread about something else on a running forum and finding myself contemplating a picture of a huge flaccid cock.
PS: it wasn't me that complained though!

The US site occasionally had proper disgusting pics posted by trolls - not stuff you'd want your mum to see.

However all the above not withstanding, I do find this large penis highly offensive !
I'd like to know who these mystery posters are that keep complaining about "offensive" threads. Not that I'm convinced they exist, I think it's moderator censorship.
But OK RW if that's your bag, why don't you do what other forum moderators do and just delete the "offensive" posts?

TBH, we don't know why it was deleted. It could be because someone objected to the picture or becuase someone objected to the whole discussion.
Unless RW Towers decide to tell us we will never know. I just hope that they didn't delete it just because one person complained and they actually considered the content of the whole thread first.
