  I'm a member of Wakefield Harriers... but... there isn't much of a club running scene unless you're into track or are quite fast (unlike me! I have ended up training on my own!). Feel free to email me if you want some more details, might be able to help!

  Hello. Bit late with a reply as this is me looking at old threads and catching up after 4 weeks holiday! I run for Dewsbury Road Runners, who meet at Dewsbury sports centre, we have a slower runners group, doing between 4 and 7 miles at 10 minute-ish mile pace that runs on Thursdays, also do a lot of off-road while the nights are light, and a smaller group does regular speed sessions. I love it, but if you wanted somewhere closer to Wakefield I would also recommend Rothwell Harriers, they are a friendly bunch.
