From my bedroom window, I have a lovely view of the convent's garden. One of the sisters clipped all of the roses yesterday, so now the only remaining colours (apart from fantastic green trees everywhere) are the trees that are tentatively turning orange/red.
From my window I see rain, grey clouds and planes taking off from Manchester airport probably taking the lucky individuals on them to some hot exotic location.....boo hoo!
Car park, chemical plant, incinerator chimney - quite uplifting to know that the wheels of manufacturing industry are still turning, so long as the fire brigades union let them.
Two squirrels planning a raid on my peanut thingy, a fence that should have been painted in the summer and some people walking their dogs on the other side of the canal.

No, but it is raining ... and they do make me smile on this grey and wet day
Oh well at least it's stopped raining for now.
