I was pretty lax last time, but I'm trying to get into it a bit more as it is extremely helpful. i picked up so much motivation and and advice from fellow runners, it was fantastic, plus it was extremely lucrative as Hollywood would actually PAY me to come!

don't forget, this forum has been moved here to open up other potential running areas, such as the towpaths and battersea park or what not, so suggestions welcome.

You're quite right JPVD; how about meeting at Kingston Bridge, running to Hampton Court Bridge (3 miles) into the Palace grounds and up to the end of the Long Water and back to the Palace (no idea how far), then back to Kingston Bridge again. This would be at least 7, flat, miles, plus whatever people have to run to get to Kingston Bridge.

hoohoo, i see the beginning of a forum debate coming up. A split is inevitable!

The first sunday RP training run was a bunch of us showing up and missing each other. Turns out we were all wearing the same blue helly hansen long sleeve shirt, however.

this was alleviated by the move to the yellow phone. It's also handy cuz if the peeps freak you out too much, one can pretend to be simply using the phone and then leg it.

I need to do hills at the moment, as I'm doing the Plymouth half at the end of May and it's a bit hilly, to say the least. So I'm in favour of RP on Sundays until further notice.

actually, i became a millwall fan cuz they were giving away free tickets to schools (no away fans allowed), and hey, they're local!

this sucks.
I'm missing the social on friday and now the run on sunday. boo hoo.

Kath - Home Park's the little one in front of Hampton Court - the recommendation about how nice it is came from Sonia O Sullivan so I'd like to try it out one day.
