RM has his on the ankle, ask him! (I had a tattoo on my foot - which I hate! - and that didn't really hurt)

One of mine is on my ankle and it hurt much worse than the others on my shoulder and thigh, also took longer to heal. Less subcutaneous fat around the joint.
