Why - supposed to be running 7m but during yesterday's 7m my ankle started hurting mildly for no reason at all and is now really quite painful and I can't move it....AAAGGGGHHHHH how frustrating! It's a gorgeous day here and I'm working from home.....want to get out and RUN!

What: 8 miles incl 6*1/2 mile intervals with 2 mins jog recoveries. First time in history I managed the RW schedule speed targets. Or perhaps I've mismeasured the distance.
Why: Schedule, and it's good fun frightening old ladies walking their dogs by thundering up behind them breathing like a goods train.

Coughing a bit afterwards, but not out of control. Avg HR rather high at 158 - to be expected I suppose - as was the pedestrian pace of 6:45 per mile.

Having been asked to provide some sickness cover work is getting in the way of training. However, got round it today by getting a lift in this morning and running home.
