TimO: no PB attempt for me. I reckon I will be about 10 to 15 minutes over my PB time, which over 10 miles is a huge amount of time. But never the less will be faster then I have run in quite a while, so all good.
Old jumper old hat and old gloves. Or a trip to primani . Race I done on Friday was 2 deg when we started and 10 deg when we finished. I had a tech top on and t shirt and was overheating. A vest is 100% ok for 10 deg.

MP - A personal trainer told me that it can often take 10-15 minutes for your aerobic system to kick in properly - before that, we are running on our anaerobic system. So a 10 minute warm up is probably a good idea - as runners our aerobic system is probably better tuned than our anaerobic system.
