My membership email came this evening - £46! Oh well, it is the GNR after all. Just trying to work out who can go without a Christmas present this year...
Thanks Rod, I've done 2 x 3:46 marathons this year so just want a sub 4 to finish the year off before next year. It will probably be hilly as I'm staying near Etna but I'll give it a go!
I love the GNR and always will and i'll continue to enter it; however when you compare the cost of the London Marathon of £28 to the Great North Run cost of £46 it does beg the question; why so much? I think it's a question that'll never be answered!
Hey Guys & Girls Been Emailing A Few Breast Cancer Charities For Next Year & One Charity Quoted me This " Bupa registration fee, which will probably be around £46 next year." does anybody have any other information on this subject my Dad said it was like £30 this time around.
Happy Easter Folks Good luck to all the runners today -XL man - sub 46 and I would be over the moon - anything under the hour and I am happy - perfect conditions today here but sadly no motivation today - may nip out later for a few cheecky miles but spending the day with wife and children
