quite warm here and Pete may have to adjust his 2:55 target to 2:55:01 but he looks his usual laid back relaxed and confident self here and am sure the marathon will go well.
Some excellent advice here and I agree with most of what has been said. I agree Peter's speed is exceptionally good and that he may be capable of doing some runs faster than scheduled and that his marathon potential may be well inside 3:00. At this stage personally I don't like training too quickly though. I see January…
Happy new year Peter Managed to fit my first 2 races into 2011 before 10.30 with parkruns starting at 2 different times but both lot slower than goal marathon pace but couldn't have gone much quicker though the drive between the races was a good speed!.
Doing Fleet 1/2 on the 20th. U? Also thinking about Abingdon myself, booked place, you'll want to get in quick with it as they fill up pretty quick. Steve, if you are following the sub 3 program with just 2 runs a week, which runs are you doing? How is your foot injury?
badbark eating three and half hours before running is fine most people eat 2-4 before and if etaing 4 hours before some have a light snack at 2 but you need to fine what works for you within this. Other milk is absolutely fine soya is lower/absorption lower in calcium but this should not be an issue for you.
