6 x 1200 last night, figure of 8 with a 800 loop then a 400 loop. Started with a 3.58, got the last to 3.43 I think. Just trying to get the 800 done in about 2.30 and hang on.
I'm no coach but i'd tend toward the longer sessions or even a pyramid of them if going for 10Ks e.g. 800, 1600, 800, 1600, 800; with the 1600s at hoped-for 10k pace and the 800s 4 seconds a lap faster.
