Long run done. Really struggled with this one. Legs felt heavy, couldn't relax my shoulders, but I got round somehow. 9.76 miles in 1:40:59. Mile splits a bit different from Thursday's run - 10:04 10:30 10:34 10:10 10:29 10:28 10:11 10:32 10:04 MMM = 68.91 / 72 (with 5 planned on Monday I might actually achieve this one!)
Did my 4 miles, that's the longest I've run since Jan 15th and my second longest run since November (the ill-fated January long run being the one that caused my second consecutive injury!). Calf/shin 9/10; Achilles 10/10; twisted ankle 10/10; running endurance/mental strength 3/10! Here's hoping there's no stiffness…
Don't think its pace FP. My first mile was 10:10 and my average for the run was 10:15. It doesn't seem that long ago my long runs were at 9:45 - 9:50 pace
4 miles done this morning. I did have a slight twinge but not in the usual place. Spilts were 10:58, 10:21, 10:24 & 10:38. It's looking more likely that I'm going to be doing the 10k next weekend. I just need to sort out what's happening about my race number now.
I'd love to do a sub 30 min 5k and 1hr 10k current 5 k 32.2 and 10 k 72.24. 1st 10 k race 1.14 . I have a 10 k on the 31st Julyb nut can't seem to get any faster
Good luck Ado! Long run done. My training buddy is at the IOW festival so the only company I had was my Garmin and I tried to keep that quiet (it was set to maintain my pace between 9:45 and 10:00 min miles). Ran one of my favourite routes to help motivate me. Did 9.78 miles in 1:37:36. Mile splits were 9:58 10:13 10:08…
well done Jason. We're not worthy to be in your company! You're flying! Went out for my solo long run. Estimated the route would be between 9 and 10 miles. Tried to stay just below 10 minute mile pace. Found the first couple of miles realy tough and thought I was going to have problems with my calves and feet but then I…
