Just started training for my first race and I have come across 10-10 as a something to do during a run but cant find any explanation of what it means. could very easy being stuppidly ignorant but can someone please help?!

10 steps with left leg, 10 with the right leg, alternated. When you get to 10, if you haven't completed your run, start again at zero. Repeat.

Never heard of it. In what context? 10 mins fast, 10 mins slow?
