Really thinking about this event now... I suffered in the heat at Brighton and went pop at mile 17 and struggled in for 3:19. My plan was to get sub 3:10 and a good for age time for London 2012. But failed to reproduce my recent form and training in the heat. So thinking this could be another stab at it.
Often seems to be warm on race day Had a quit chat with Bridget and Kaz on the first hill. Nce to meet you laters I manged a PB by 7 mins (I think, need to wait for the official times) so I'm happy. Heat and hills took their toll from 19 mils in, and I love the "grassy knoll" in the last mile! Another good day out HRR.…
