Will being a Pirate help ?

I'm looking for any zen like advice that helps me find will power. I love he idea of triathlon and need to work out how I walk past the pub and go for a run/swim/bike session first.. Any ideas ?

I've signed up for uk 70.3 2014 (drunken bet) and should probably actually do something to prepare image

As the pirates seem to use the words beer and tri in the same sentence, I think I'd definetly like to be one and assume someone out there must have the same challenges..
